Software Workshop

Dimension: Intellectual
Event: Software Workshop @ Lab 103 Computer Science Dept
Date: Tuesday, February 28, 2012

This software workshop was hosted by ACM-W which I am a part of. Was actually excited about it as our organization is newly formed and having events is one of our main goals this semester in order to attract new members.  The turn out was less than we expected but the sessions were still taught and there were things that we didn’t even know about.  It was quite informative and I look at this as a stepping stone.

You will not always get to where you want to go in one leap, sometimes it takes a couple leaps to get to where we want to be

and we are willing to do that.  Overall, I am happy that we had the workshop and that it was informative and also allowed us to really explore what we are able to do in the future.  I’m pumped!!

have some class!

It’s been awhile since I’ve written, and I can only offer up the excuse that work has been CRAZY lately. (a good crazy, though)

School is back in session at UND, and that means that Wellness Center classes are also back in session. Can I get an AMEN?! I forgot how much easier it is to work out when you have a committed time, place, and group of people to show up to.

The Zumba classes I attended were PACKED with people that had dancing skills of all levels. I think it makes the classes so much more fun, because we’re all just bustin the moves together- nothing else. Judgment-free.

Make this a semester that you try something new. I’m looking forward to overcoming new challenges; heck, I might even try a spin class (again)… may be.

Do yourself a favor; learn just how FUN working out can be!
