Event: Dine with the Dimensions

Event: Hawo’s Dinner Party
Where: Christus Rex Lounge
When: 7:00 pm
What is it: This event will be a video and discussion about Muslims in America. It is co-sponsored by Christus Rex and the Muslim Student Association. The video is entitled “Hawo’s Dinner Party” that speaks to a group of Muslims from Somalia who come to small town America and try to integrate into this new culture. Hawo helps break down the walls of mistrust and misunderstanding through her hospitality.

Event: Theology for Lunch
Where: Christus Rex
When: 12:00 pm (Noon)
What is it: The United States began as an immigration nation and continues to receive immigrants event today. How do we faithfully address immigration concerns with neighboring Mexico today?
This discussion will be led by Kyle Thorson, Graduate Student.

Event: Spiritual Wellness Fair
Where: Memorial Union – Badlands Room
When: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
What is it: Spiritual Wellness encompasses many things – understanding your religion; asking questions; living by your principles, values, and beliefs; giving back to the community; and finding harmony in your life. Please join us to learn more about the different groups and organizations at UND and in the Grand Forks community.

Event: Labyrinth
Where: Memorial Union – River Valley Room
When: 11:00 am – 2:00 pm
What is it: The labyrinth is an ancient spiritual tool which invites people to reflect, pray, or meditate as they walk. There is no right or wrong way to use the labyrinth. Give yourself the gift of time and space to be with yourself and whatever you call holy.

Event: Cultural Night – Nepal Night

Event: Panel Discussion: Beyond Jesus for Dummies
Where: Christus Rex
When: 12:00 pm (Noon)
What is it: The topic of discussion will be “Questions You Always Wanted to Ask a Pastor”. Young area clergy and seminary representatives will field questions about what they learned and the challenge of translating that education to communities of faith. Interact with these pastors with your own questions about faith and the church.

Event: Yogathon!
Where: Wellness Center Main Gym
